Audio collection
The monitoring system collects acoustic measurements and may retain short audio recordings of detected events. Incidental speech or identifiable information may be captured. Recordings are kept private until reviewed; only Approved and Extreme recordings that also pass privacy screening may be made public.
Publication and removal
We do not publish recordings for the purpose of identifying people. If a recording raises privacy concerns, contact privacy@toonoisy.org.au, including its displayed date/time if possible. We will assess the request and can withdraw recordings from public access.
Website visitors and cookies
The initial website has no accounts, advertising, marketing cookies or third-party analytics. Ordinary server access and security logs may include IP addresses, request times and browser information. Any additional cookies or analytics must be reflected in this notice before introduction.
Contact and retention
Enquiries may be retained to manage requests and maintain an audit trail. The precise retention periods for recordings and website logs must be finalised and documented before production launch.
